It's been a very long time. I'm finishing up my second to last semester of undergrad and it's kindof a crazy time. I am applying to graduate programs in public health, specifically epidemiology as I am studying for my exams and writing my final papers.

Life is good. Snow has come early to Montreal and everything is beautiful. I'm visiting my boyfriend of 3.5 years over winter break in Yellowknife, NWT of all places. You should look it up if you don't know where it is - the region has some of the oldest rocks in the world because it is on the exposed part of the Canadian Shield. Wow. I am VERY excited to see the northern lights and will definitely post my best pictures.

I hope that things have been going well for all of you out there in DeviantArt land.

I have one more exam (tomorrow morning) and then I have 3weeks and a couple days vacation! Yay! I should be graduating in May and I am applying to graduate school for public health in the US. It's so sad to think of leaving Canada, but I might move back someday. :)

Happy New Year

Let us all gather round and cheer,
With a drink of wine or an ice cold beer

Perhaps you're like me and don't drink the swill,
Or your like my grandparents who live on pills.
Maybe this world seems harsh at times,
Or its just that most of us just like to whine.

I'd say that this is a great place to be,
It all depends on how we can see.

True we've had bad things in the past,
But we know in our hearts that these will not last.
